A Baby Girl’s Newborn Photos with Butterflies ~Tessa

This adorable growing family is truly centered around their beloved little girls. Their oldest daughter Madison is an absolute delight, so when Mom and Dad found out they had a second baby girl on the way, they couldn’t wait to welcome her to their family. Both Madison and Mom were excited about getting newborn photos with butterflies!

From the moment I met this family, I could see how incredibly loved Tessa is. All new parents cherish their babies, but I was so touched by how gentle and affectionate Mom and Dad were in caring for their new bundle of joy. And it wasn’t just Mom and Dad: big sister Madison has stepped into her new role so easily, and I can see that she’ll be a spectacular big sis to little Tessa.

Mom loves the color lavender and she loves butterflies as well. It’s always important to me to use motifs and color schemes that suit the family well, so I happily gave Tessa plenty of lovely feminine lavender shades and purple butterflies throughout her portraits. Newborn photos with butterflies are so precious because butterflies are a special symbol of new beginnings. I love that Tessa is surrounded by butterflies as she begins her life journey.

As precious as the portraits are of the entire family, I’m a sucker for a great sibling photo because it shows these two best-friends-in-the-making as they’re getting to know each other. Madison was a true angel throughout Tessa’s photo session and I was excited that she gave us such a proud smile for her portrait with her baby sister.
