Second Newborn Photographs

Just under two years ago, I met this beautiful young family soon after Mom and Dad welcomed their first child, daughter Adeline. They were such a kind family, and I could tell that Adeline was growing up surrounded by love and warmth. Take a peek at her newborn photographs so you can see how much these little ladies look alike. So I was thrilled when this same wonderful family reached out to me again to let me know that they were expecting a second baby girl: little Rylee.

It was a pleasure to join this family to celebrate their new little gift with Rylee’s newborn portraits. It’s clear that she’s loved and treasured by not only her beaming parents but her lovely big sister, too!

For Rylee’s portraits, we primarily opted for delicate, feminine tones and simple poses because Rylee is so stunning that she stands out on her own. The photos of the family turned out beautifully, and it’s clear to see all the love between them.

Sibling Baby Girl Portraits

As with any family whose new baby is joining a big brother or big sister, Rylee’s parents were particularly excited about capturing sibling photos of Rylee and Adeline. These portraits are always touching, but it can be a challenge to get all the siblings to show their best sides to the camera at the same time, especially when Big Sister is under two years old.

Luckily for us in this case, though, Adeline was an absolute doll, and we were able to talk her into cooperating. In the end, the portraits with these two sweet sisters turned out to be stunning, and I caught a few precious moments between these best friends in the making.
