Baby Cameron isn’t his parents’ first child – he’s just their first child that doesn’t have fur. Mom and Dad love their dogs as treasured members of the family, and they wanted to capture every part of their journey to welcome little Cameron into their warm and inviting household.

Classic Maternity Photos

We started with Mom’s maternity photoshoot, and I could see right away how excited this sweet couple was to meet their baby boy. Along with some photos in casual and cozy winter attire, we were able to create several classic and dazzling portraits with Mom in a flowy maternity gown. The blue tones we used for the maternity photos allow these portraits to perfectly complement little Cameron’s newborn photos too.

When Cameron was born, I could hardly wait to meet him and to see his sweet parents with their new baby. Cameron loved watching what was going on but he also caught a few snoozes during his session, so I’m glad I was able to capture a great mixture of his wide-eyed wonder and his adorable sleepiness.

To help Mom and Dad get the family photos they had always wanted, we featured several unique settings and photos for baby Cameron. I love the portrait of Cameron surrounded by a map and his parents’ passports – Mom and Dad are clearly setting him up to be an avid traveler!

The photo of Cameron on top of his Oh, The Places You’ll Go! Book is absolutely precious, signed by so many people who are already swaddling him in love. Of course, the portrait of Cameron next to his incredibly proud (and furry) siblings would win over anyone’s heart too.
