Newborn Photos with Three Generations of Love ~ Luca

Every parent knows that when you have your first child, those first days and weeks are such an incredibly new and wonderful experience. You’re diving into the world of parenthood for the first time and getting to know your precious baby all at the same time. As a Glastonbury newborn photographer, I always cherish watching new parents enjoying and navigating this stage.

It can be even more fun, though, to watch those same new parents come back years later when they welcome a new baby to the family. It’s so touching to see how much the family has grown together, how much more confident the parents are with their new baby, and how much of a personality their oldest has developed. Little Luca’s family followed this to a tee.

Newborn Baby Boy #2 and Family

I first met this family when Mom and Dad had their first son, Connor. Connor is growing into such a fun and curious little boy so quickly, so I was thrilled when Mom and Dad called me to say that they were adding a second sweet son to their family: baby Luca.

For Luca’s newborn photos, we opted for a lot of classic baby boy elements: blue color palettes, teddy bears, and sleepy settings. I was so glad we could also incorporate Mom and Dad’s love of travel into one of Luca’s portraits, though.

Luca’s photos with his new family are absolutely precious as well. Mom and Dad are beaming with pride, and Connor did an outstanding job as Luca’s big brother. The sibling photo with Connor gazing down at Luca truly has my heart! Another special privilege we had for Luca’s newborn photo session was a visit from Grandma and Grandpa, and I love the photo of them with their treasured grandsons.
