Nature Lover Newborn Photos for a Family of Adventurers ~ Theodore

In my years of specializing in newborn photography, I’ve seen it all. Some families ask me to take the lead in designing their babies’ photo sessions, while others have specific ideas of designs and themes they want. I’ve created portraits for any passion and hobby that parents have, from music to the culinary arts.

In the case of little Theodore, his parents have a strong devotion and respect for the National Park Service. In fact, they named their newborn son after Theodore Roosevelt, the president who is widely seen as the greatest champion of the National Parks Service. I meet so many outdoorsy parents in offering Connecticut newborn photography, particularly because we have so many beautiful natural environments in this area.

Nature Lover Newborn Photos

To allow baby Theodore to look back on his newborn photos and see the strong legacy his parents are passing on to him, we emphasized outdoorsy themes in Theodore’s gallery. Dad in particular is an avid fisherman and hunter, so Theodore’s newborn portraits center around the love of nature and outdoor adventuring that his parents are excited to share with him.

To incorporate some variety, we chose some classic newborn photo settings for Theodore as well. He looks so precious snuggled up with a teddy bear or nestled in a cozy basket. His portraits with Mom and Dad turned out beautifully as well, and it’s easy to see how glowingly proud they are of their baby boy.

While Mom and Dad didn’t want tons of photos or a packed album, they were excited to use little Theodore’s newborn portraits as beautiful artwork for their home. They selected a handful of meaningful photos to order as large canvases for their home, and I’m so glad that these photos will be able to put a smile on their faces for years to come as baby Theodore grows.
